POSTCARDS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD: GRANADA

“Spain has much to offer to visitors: the feeling of being suddenly in another continent; the news of extended and wild landscapes, the memories – in architecture, in the names, in the mores – of past Arabic domination; the austere, splendid churches; the white Andalusian cities like sugar cubes scattered on barren hills; processions, ferias, gypsies, fiery bulls, flamengo singers.”

  1. That looks like the Spain I’ve always imagined. I’ve only been to Barcelona, which was awesome, but many would argue that it’s not Spain at all…

    • Hello Julie, yes, Barcelona (and also Madrid) are big cities, and a bit different from the Spain everyone could imagine. Andalusia is just magical, there are many beautiful historical cities, and in the summer there are many ferias to join… i have wonmderful memories of this trip.
